My special interest is in Mitral Valve Repair Surgery and Minimal Access Valve and CABG.
• Working as Consultant at Fortis Hospital-Mulund , Kalyan and Vashi I was performing Off-Pump and On-pump CABG,Valve and Vascular Surgeries. I have also perfomed Minimal Invasive Mitral Valve Surgery through Lower Sternotomy.
• Cardiac Surgery Department at Kalyan-Fortis Hospital had been set up and started functioning under my supervision and guidance.
• In February 2014 I had been to Basra Medical Centre-Iraq where I performed Coronary Artery Bypass Surgeries ,Mitral and Aortic Valve Surgeries.
• I was also active member of Infection Control Committee, ICU & Operation Theatre Committee at Fortis Hospital Mulund.
• Working as Consultant at CHL-Apollo Hospital-Indore, I was doing Off-Pump and on-pumpCABG,Valve and Vascular Surgeries. • I have an experience base of performing the whole spectrum of Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgeries with exposure to more then 5000 cases. I have experience in Mitral Valve Replacement with Maze procedure as I had opportunity to work with Prof. Med. Joachim Laas - Romstedter,Germany during Scientific Workshop in Mumbai. Also I have been part of team performing first Awake Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery-ACAB in western India. I am regularly doing Mitral Valve Replacement through MiniSternotomy and Minithoracotomy.

• Subxiphoid pericardiostomy in the diagnosis and management of massive pericardial effusion with tamponade at the 15th annual conference of the association of surgeons of India, M.P. chapter held at Raipur in February 1998.
• Ministernotomy as a routine procedure at the 46th annual conference of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular – Thoracic Surgeons held at Mumbai in March 2000.
• Sternal dehiscence – Experience at Nair Hospital at the 47th annual conference of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular – Thoracic Surgeons held at Calcutta in February 2001.
