- Dr. Abhilasha Tyagi is a consultant psychiatrist, MD (Nair Hospital, Mumbai) following which she completed DNB in Psychiatry (National Board of Examinations, New Delhi).
She also holds a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Mental Health (Nair Hospital, Mumbai) & specialises in diagnosing & treating several childhood Neurodevelopmental & other psychiatric disorders. She is also trained in ‘Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression, Anxiety, and Suicide Prevention’ through the Beck Institute (Pennsylvania) and SwastiVishwa Behavioral and Social Sciences Institute Foundation. She believes in providing balanced psychiatric care in the form of medications & the right therapies to her patients with emphasis on the fact that psychiatric disorders are biological illnesses hence can be treated.
